RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML format for syndicating news.
XML icon link to the feed directly. XML icon with pill is for
AmphetaDesk
users (who can use that icon to add the feed to their channel list).
You need to install an RSS feed reader, (A reader is a software
application similar in function to your email program). To subscribe
you need to copy the channel URL into your reader. AmphetaDesk
is a free, cross platform, open-sourced, syndicated news aggregator
- it obediently sits on your desktop, downloads the latest news
that interests you, and displays them in a quick and easy to use
(and customizable!) webpage.
